Glue Gun Stand

I whipped together this glue gun stand yesterday with some scrap 1×4 wood that I had laying around.

To make the cutout for the glue gun, I drew a half circle and then straight lines and cut it out on my 60 year old jig saw. I finalized the shape with my Dremel tool and sanded the curve out. I sanded all pieces and broke the corners down with the sander so they are not so sharp.

I painted it with American Paint Company paint color “Born on the 4th of July” blue and then gave it a quick seal with General Finishes “Arm R Seal” in semi-gloss.

Bought a Dollar Store coaster to attach for the drip plate.
